ABSTRACT
In this study, the effect of the decentralized rainwater management facility in Korean apartment complexes is analyzed. The experimental site is Singal 1 tenant apartment complex in Yongin, Korea. An underground rainwater storage tank, an infiltration barrel and an infiltration trench are applied. Rainwater flows through rainwater management facility and then it is stored or infiltrated into the underground. Experiment is run with the natural rainfall and artificial rainfall. Rainwater runoff reduction and pollution load reduction effect are analyzed. The rate of runoff reduction is compared with runoff discharge. The rate of pollution load reduction is analyzed with the water quality test on the inflow and the outflow.
