ABSTRACT

Water related issues have been debated and discussed over the past two decades and still there is no resolution. After almost 3 years from the Second World Water Forum, where participation and social involvement were put high, arguments on who should govern and finance water services prevailed at the 3rd WWF. Worrying about the “situation” of water, young people gathered at the Second Youth World Water Forum (2nd YWWF) during the 3rd WWF formulated the Young People's Declaration. This article illustrates the Young People's Declaration and questions whether or not their demands would be met.
