Drought, dams and reuse: political concerns in Queensland

Proposals for a new dam at Traveston Crossing, Queensland, Australia, have attracted criticism but appear to have political backing at a time when politicians have also decided that water from the flagship Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme should not be used as intended. Bill McCann warns of an erosion of public support when drought returns.
