Journal of Water Supply: Research and Technology - Aqua publishes peer-reviewed scientific & technical, review, and practical/ operational papers dealing with research and development in water supply technology and management, including economics, training and public relations on a national and international level.
CALL FOR PAPERS
FOR SPECIAL THEME ISSUE OF THE JOURNAL OF WATER SUPPLY: RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY - AQUA
Aqua seeks original research papers and review papers for a special theme issue of the Journal on Water Reuse in the 21st Century. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous review process and those accepted will be published in a special Journal issue expected in December of 2012.
Topics for papers may include, but are not limited to
- Minimizing energy use and carbon footprints in water reclamation
- Advanced water reclamation processes
- Process engineering and design aspects
- Potable reuse
- Role and efficiency of environmental buffers
- Monitoring strategies in potable water reuse systems
- Regulatory, economic and financial impediments to water reuse
- Standardization and regulations for water reuse
- Rate structures of water reuse and external costs
Full manuscripts must be received by 26 March 2012. In your cover letter indicate that the manuscript is for the theme issue, and please suggest three potential reviewers. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the same rigorous process used for all submissions to Aqua. Submit the manuscript to Aqua’s on-line Editorial Manager system.
